Meet Captain Mark — aka Captain Crab 🦀

If you're looking for someone who knows these rivers like the back of his sun-soaked hand, you've found him. Captain Mark — better known as Captain Crab — has spent his life navigating Georgia’s coastal waterways. Born and raised in the Lowcountry, he grew up fishing, crabbing, and exploring every hidden creek and backwater from Savannah to the sea.

With deep family roots in the region and a passion for its natural beauty and history, Captain Mark brings a local’s insight to every tour. He’ll show you where the dolphins play, tell stories of old river forts, and drop the occasional crab joke — all with a laid-back vibe that makes everyone feel like part of the crew.

Over the years, he’s worn just about every hat the river has to offer — fisherman, guide, naturalist, and storyteller. That experience shines through on every trip.

While the roomy deck boat comfortably fits up to 10 guests, it’s Captain Mark’s knowledge and charm that really make the ride special. So, hop aboard, crack open a cold drink, and let Captain Crab show you the river like only a true local can.

*Captain Mark has held a U.S.C.G OUPV Captain’s License since 1998*
